Senses & Tranquillity Series

Inner-peace is the present

Living in a fast-paced and highly competitive city, it could be stressful, hard to slow down and take a rest. Eventually, we experience prolonged fatigue both physically and psychologically.

Arts for Change together with singing bowl partitioner, Hyzuii, develop a workshop series offering a moment of tranquillity through connecting with our five senses. Spare a weekend for yourself and join us to reconnect with your body and mind through mindful calligraphy, ink jamming, and listening to the sound of singing bowls.

Target: Aged 18 or above and in search of a moment of tranquillity

Date:June In-person Sessions (Enrol Now)

【Ink。Jamming】
4/6 (Sat), 3:00pm-5:00pm (Full)

You may have tried Art Jamming but never think of using ink for improvised painting. Follow the flow of ink and paint, together with the use of little tools, you can create without limit. We will guide you throughout the creative process to express your feelings and thoughts while enhancing your self-understanding.

【Mindful。Calligraphy】
25/6 (Sat), 11:00am-12:30pm
26/6 (Sun), 3:00pm-4:30pm

With our packed daily routines, it is hard to take care of our wandering mind and let it rest. Join us to copy the Heart Sutra with brush and ink while having a cup of warm tea to relax and enjoy the process. All art materials are provided and our facilitator will walk you through the journey into tranquillity.

【In the Sound of Singing Bowl】
25/6 (Sat), 3:00pm-4:30pm (Full)
25/6 (Sat), 5:45pm-7:15pm (New)

The calming sound of singing bowls originates from the Earth and resonates with our body and mind. Lie down, relax, simply allow yourself to experience the ancient sound from the Earth. Ground deeply into the peaceful presence.
