Let your children express their inner world through Chinese ink and brush with motivation to learn the beauty of Chinese calligraphy and Chinese character as pictogram. Our Registered Expressive Arts Therapist will guide children to observe and expressive their feelings and thoughts basing on different themes such as animal and traits, weather and emotions, geography and nature, etc.

The workshop will begin with appreciation of master pieces from famous abstract artists, Kandinsky Wassily and Piet Mondriant. Children will then learn the point and line to plane and primary colour concepts. Children will have freedom to create and we can learn more about them. At the end of each session, our Registered Expressive Arts Therapist will facilitate sharing among participants, parents are welcome to join.

For parents and children to enjoy 2 hours ink-jamming while learn more about each other through the creative process. “Zentangle is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns.” Yet, it is not necessary to be just in black and white. Let’s give colour to our drawing during this holiday season.

The artwork is inspired by a famous Japanese artists, Yayoi Kusama, together with Zentangle drawing method.

Would you like to utlise the Christmas holiday and complete the Pastel Nagomi Art Assoicate Instructor's Training before the end of 2022? Participants are required to complete 18-20 pieces of artwork to learn the required skills and principles in 3 days. In order to apply for Associate Instructor, participants are required to provide 3 pieces of own drawings and answer short questions upon completion of programme on or before 29 December 2022. Certificates are issued by JPHAA directly.

It's time to take a rest and take care of your mind before welcoming the new year. Join us to copy the Heart Sutra with brush and ink while having a cup of warm tea to relax and enjoy the process. All art materials including a wooden frame are provided and our facilitator will walk you through the journey into tranquillity.
